Vergeet je ervaringen met andere controllers. De NS7 heeft twee 7" , gemotoriseerde, high-torque aluminium turntable plateau's. De plateau's kunnen zo ingesteld worden dat ze als een moderne of klassieke platenspeler aanvoelen. Zeven inch echte vinyl platen met een 45RPM adapter zijn op echte slipmatten gemonteerd. Niets geen simulatie hier, NS7 is the real deal. De stevige, ruw aanvoelende rubber knoppen, de CP-PRO crossfader van hoogwaardige kwaliteit en de D-TYPE lijn faders maken de NS7 tot een echte topper. Numark selecteerde de CP-PRO digitale VCA crossfader omdat deze extreem lang meegaat zonder te slijten. Voor de crossfader kan zowel de curve als reverse ingesteld worden. Numark heeft dit idee verder ontwikkeld en een eigen moderne manier gecreëerd genaamd Strip Search, de unieke virtuele-needle-drop touch sensitive strip. Je kan een punt in de track vrijwel direct vinden door te kijken naar de wave op het scherm en met je vinger over de Strip Search te gaan. Vijf toewijsbare hot-cue knoppen per deck bieden de mogelijkheid om direct naar een punt in de track te gaan. Deze cue punten zijn opnieuw op te roepen in ITCH en in Scratch LIVE. Je kan ook Scratch LIVE cue punten in ITCH laden. De uitgebreide Serato-style loop sectie op beide decks zorgen voor creatieve remix mogelijkheden. Je kan kiezen tussen handmatig of auto-loop functie. De automatische BPM analyzer helpt bij het maken van loops. Het creëren van smart loops van elke maat lengte is eenvoudig gedaan en je kan de loop naar wens aanpassen door middel van diverse opties zoals Doubling, Halving en Shift. De veelvoudige loop banks per deck maken de NS7 een perfecte keuze voor scratch en club DJ's. Beat matchen gaat direct met 100mm, stevige pitch faders. De plus / min knoppen zorgen ervoor dat je heel nauwkeurig kan pitch benden. Het nul punt van de pitch wordt aangegeven door een LED zodat je heel snel ziet wanneer de pitch in het midden staat.

AUDIO KWALITEIT

Numark heeft buitengewone zorg besteed aan het selecteren voor de componenten van de audiosignaal keten. De NS7 is dan ook uitgevoerd met een multichannel, 24-bit USB digitale audio interface en geeft een strak en vet geluid.

PROFESSIONEEL UITERLIJK

De twee decks met de mixer sectie in het midden geven de NS7 een herkenbaar en professioneel uiterlijk en worden ondersteund door het strakke ontwerp in mat en glimmend zwart. De hele unit is voorzien van een robuuste metalen behuizing van industriële degelijkheid.

SERATO ITCH SOFTWARE

Serato ITCH is natuurlijk al vertrouwd wanneer je Scratch LIVE gebruikt. Het nieuwe programma ITCH bouwt verder op de populariteit van Scratch LIVE en voegt daar een paar nieuwe essentiële functies aan toe. ITCH heeft geen tijdcode interface nodig dus om het systeem te laten werken zijn alleen de NS7 en een goede computer nodig! Daar ITCH de tijdcode verleden tijd laat zijn is het niet meer nodig je druk te maken om verspringende naalden of versleten vinyl. Je hebt de mogelijkheid Scratch LIVE crates, loops, presets en cue punten probleemloos in ITCH te gebruiken. De NS7 werkt ook met de meeste andere MIDI DJ programma's en ondersteund iTunes. ITCH is speciaal ontwikkeld voor gebruik met een hardware controller en geeft geen overbodige informatie in het scherm weer. Neem eenvoudig je set op met behulp van clip-proof gain management en BPM calculatie. Dit alles door maximaal gebruik van de kracht van de processor in je computer. Serato's unieke kleuren waveforms geven je een overzichtelijke visualisatie van geluidsveranderingen in de track. Je kan in ITCH cue punten aanmaken en opslaan. Er zijn drie pitch instellingen mogelijk: ±8%, ±16% en ±50% met Key Lock voor het onafhankelijk manipuleren van de toonhoogte en snelheid.

ITCH beschikt over library management tools voor het herstellen van je muziek of het maken van een back-up. Met de geavanceerde opname mogelijkheden kan je kiezen voor je hele mix of alleen het aux ingangssignaal om te samplen. De software ondersteund AIFF, WAV, MP3 en AAC audio bestanden.
