The World’s Most Advanced Mix Controller

Although the SCS.1m is in some ways a “mixer,” it’s more appropriately called a mix controller. Designed in an intuitive DJ mixer format that should be instantly familiar to anyone who’s ever stepped behind the decks, the SCS.1m features four channel strips with faders, EQ controls, and high-precision metering, as well as a responsive crossfader, and a straightforward Cue / Monitoring section. The surface layout has been carefully designed so that any experienced DJ can simply step up and begin basic mixing within seconds. The difference, of course, is that tweaking an EQ knob or channel fader, for example, is not actually adjusting analog audio — it’s controlling the corresponding EQ or level parameter in your DJ software.
FireWire Computer Connection
The SCS.1m controls your DJ software and sends/receives audio to Mac or PC via its onboard, studio-quality FireWire connection. FireWire allows a simple, single-cable connection, with all the bandwidth required to handle just about any mixing and controlling task you’re likely to need. It also ensures ultra-low latency (delay) of only 1.5ms and high sampling rates (sound quality) of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz. This translates into lightning-fast responsiveness and sound quality that’s far beyond competing mix control products.
Rotary Controls (aka “Super Knobs”)
Beyond basic mixing and control, the SCS.1m makes a radical departure from traditional mixers via four rotary encoders (“virtual knobs”) with LED rings and corresponding LCD “scribble strips.” These fully assignable encoders can be mapped directly into functions in the DJ software while providing visual feedback of knob position, even in low-light settings. Underneath, the LCD scribble strips confirm the software parameter being adjusted by each encoder, without the need to check your laptop. Of course, common assignments for these encoders can be saved as presets for fast recall.

Auxiliary Input for Turntables and CD Players

Although designed primarily as a software control surface, the SC System provides DJs with the ability to connect a “real” turntable or CD player into their Macs or PCs via a switchable Aux input. This input is useful for mixing “real world” sources along with your software, and for sampling or archiving vinyl and other audio into your computer.

High-Torque Motorized Platter

Motorized Pitch Slider

The pitch slider on the SCS.1d is not only 100mm long for super-smooth pitch adjustments, but it’s also motorized, so your deck “remembers” its settings as you switch between decks or presets.

Trigger Pads

Directly underneath the SCS.1d’s motorized platter is its assignable Trigger section. Comprised of four velocity-sensitive pads, this section can be used to play loops and samples during performance, or for triggering any other MIDI messages to your software. DaScratch’s center section operates mainly in 3 different modes – Slider, Circle, and Button mode. These 3 different control layouts can be evoked by any of the mode buttons depending on how the DaRouter preset is programmed.

Slider Mode - Slider mode gives the user 3 variable controls (like faders) that can be used by sliding your finger up and down the areas next to the 3 LED meter bars. This mode can be used for controlling many parameters at once, like an EQ. A slider may be changed by dragging a finger across the surface, or you can place your finger in an absolute position on the slider and its position will jump immediately to that point. Two fingers may be used to trigger from one position to the next. For instance, holding one finger on the bottom of the slider and tapping the top with a second finger will make the slider generate the higher value for as long as that finger remains on the surface. Once the second (upper) finger is removed, the slider will generate the value indicated by the first finger position. We refer to this as a “finger jump”.

Circle Mode - In Circle mode, there is one slider at the center of the circle, and circular slider going around the perimeter of the touch surface. Just like in Slider mode, finger jumps are possible can be performed to quickly change the parameter in real time. This is the mode most likely to be used to emulate the platter of a deck. Circle mode is also the default mode of DaScratch. That is to say that if you plug DaScratch into your computer without using the DaRouter software, it will operate in Circle mode. But keep in mind that without DaRouter, the Mode Selector buttons (VINYL, LOOP, etc) will only send note data and will not change the operation of DaScratch.

Button Mode - In Button mode, the zones highlighted in the diagram will act as triggers to control buttons in the target application. For example, these functions could be assigned to alter loop lengths, jump to cue points, or start clips playing. Multiple buttons may be pressed at the same time in Button mode. Also, you will find some presets use a modified version of Button mode that makes the trigger areas bigger by combining 2 or more button zones.

StanTouch™ - In every mode of operation, you’ll find that the touch sensitive areas on DaScratch will respond to multiple simultaneous touches. This is part of its core functionality, and indeed many cool behaviors and gestures can be developed around this capability.

The Vestax VFX-1 has a powerful range of effects that are hosted within the supplied version of Serato ITCH DJ software. This is the very first product that will activate Serato DJ FX, simply by connecting the VFX-1 via USB.

MixMeister software heeft Dj'ing een nieuwe dimensie gegeven door de kracht van volledig Digitale Audio Workstation functies samen te laten smelten met hands on live dj control. A System 3 Controller

The SCS.3m can be used as a standalone controller for basic software mixing, but when paired with the SCS.3d deck controllers, give you an unparalleled MIDI control rig that allows you to plug and play anywhere in the world within minutes. With a built-in powered USB hub and magnetic connecting system, the SCS.3m can be easily connected to one or more SCS.3d controllers for a high tech version of a full traditional DJ setup... without the weight, size and connectivity issues.

4 Channel Control - The SCS.3m features two channel strips for control of two channels of a software mixer at any one time. However, each channel strip can be switched to control an additional two channels for a total of four channels of control with the 3m, providing a scalable interface while remaining portable at the same time. When switching between decks the 3m will remember which control mode each deck was on (FX or EQ) and will automatically update the sliders to that channel's last settings.

EQ / FX Control Modes The 4 touch sensitive sliders and 4 buttons in each channel strip can be switched to control either EQ or FX functions (or remapped for other on screen controls). This allows for 8 parameters and 8 buttons to be accessed within each channel (deck). When switching between control modes the sliders and button states will automatically update to reflect their correct settings.

De NSFX is een effect controller voor gebruik in combinatie met Numark's NS7 software performance controller, welke Numark samen ontwikkeld heeft met software ontwikkelaar Serato. NS7 gebruikers kunnen nu maximaal gebruik maken van de effect capaciteiten van de iTCH Software door middel van de NSFX. Deze controller biedt naadloze integratie en hands on controle van het brede scala aan effecten ingebouwd in de ITCH Software. High Torque Direct Drive Motor & Draaiende Platter
De DN-S3700 is voorzien van een grote 9” (ca. 23cm) draaiende platter met echt vinylplaat erop om je het draaitafelgevoel van vroeger terug te geven. Interne 24-bits Geluidskaart / USB Audio
In tegenstelling tot vele andere DJ midi controllers die alleen USB powered zijn, heeft de DN-S3700 een eigen voeding om de maximaal haalbare technische prestaties te leveren, wat resulteert in extreem hoge geluidskwaliteit. De DN-S3700 is voorzien van een 24-bit DAC processor van marktleider Burr Brown voor superieure audiokwaliteit. De USB audio interface is voorzien van een 2-kanaals stereo output en ondersteunt een 44.1kHz sampling range en ‘low latency ASIO / OSX Core Audio. De ASIO driver wordt meegeleverd op CD-ROM.

Waveform Display met Multi-line Text en Icon support
Nog een van de kwaliteiten van de DN-S3700 is het informatieve en display die elegant onder een hoek is geplaatst voor optimale leesbaarheid. De ‘Waveform’ functie is een weergave van het audiosignaal patroon in het scherm waardoor pieken in het audiobestand goed zichtbaar zijn. Ook toegevoegd is ’s werelds eerste ‘break-point’ weergave waarmee je break-points in een audiobestand visueel kan weergeven. Zowel de Waveform als break-point data kan worden ingesteld wanneer je gebruik maakt van externe USB media met behulp van de meegeleverde Denon DJ Music Manager software.
Een 32 punts visuele marker geeft de bewegingen weer die je met je hand maakt op de platter. Verder zijn er indicators voor Looping, Hot Starts, BPM info, Elapsed/ Remain time, MP3/WAV bestandstypes en vele andere. 

3 Hot Starts
Erg snel en eenvoudig kun je 3 hot starts maken met de hot start knoppen. Elke hot start kan makkelijk opnieuw worden ingesteld dankzij de individuele ‘clear’ knoppen boven elke hot start toets. Dit biedt gemakkelijke bediening met de minst mogelijke handelingen. Hot start MEMO data kan voor CD’s op het interne geheugen worden opgeslagen of direct in het bestand wanneer je gebruik maakt van externe USB media. De positie van elke hotstart wordt visueel weergegeven in het display.

Auto Loop / Manual Loop
De Auto Loop functie is gebaseerd op de BPM, waardoor de DJ erg snel 3 onafhankelijke naadloze loops kan instellen, de optie EXIT of de mogelijkheid om de loop met CLEAR snel te wissen kan op elk moment gebruikt worden. Elke loop kan geknipt of verlengd worden dankzij de Effects/Loop CUT knop volgens de volgende beat range: 

1/8 <> 1/4 <> 1/2 <> 1 <> 2 <> 4 <> 8 <> 16 <> 32 <> 64

Elke loop wordt met icoontjes visueel weergegeven in het scherm. Verder kan elke loop per frame nauwkeurig bijgesteld worden dankzij de +/_ Loop Trim knoppen. De Denon DJ Music Manager software bevat een zeer nauwkeurige BPM calculator en schrijft de BPM direct in het bestand op externe USB media. Dit biedt de DN-S3700 de mogelijkheid om perfect sluitende loops te maken dankzij de nauwkeurige BPM informatie. BPM’s kunnen ook op audio CD’s en MP3 CD-ROM’s worden opgeslagen met de MEMO functie.

Manual Loop
Naast de Auto Loop functie biedt de DN-S3700 ook de conventionele Loop functie waarmee je zelf handmatig Loops kan instellen door de openen met A (IN) en te sluiten met B (OUT). Je kan de Loop verlaten door op EXIT te drukken of herhalen dankzij RELOOP. Om je Loop te verbeteren kun je eenvoudig het A- of B-punt per frame nauwkeurig bijstellen. Het A punt alleen kan ook als Hot Start of Stutter gebruikt worden.

4 Interne Effecten
Eenvoudig te activeren voor volledige controle met een Dry/Wet-mixregelaar voor de vier effecten: Flanger, Filter (High-Mid-Low), Echo en de eerste Echo/Loop ter wereld. Het bepalen van de stemming op de dansvloer en live remixen is nog nooit zo gemakkelijk geweest.

De Key Adjust zorgt dat de toonhoogte van zang en muziek gelijk blijven klinken als de snelheid van de track wordt aangepast. De DN-S3700 is voorzien van een 100mm lange pitch fader voor een strakke mixovergang. (MP3 max range +/- 24%)

Memo Functie
Hot Starts, Auto Loops, Loops, Cue point, BPM, Pitch Setting & Range, Pitch ON/OFF en Key Adjust ON/OFF data kunnen allemaal worden opgeslagen naar het interne geheugen dankzij de MEMO functie.

Playlists aanmaken
Met de krachtige playlistfunctie kunnen 3 categorieën afspeellijsten worden aangemaakt, bewerkt en opgeslagen. Top 40, Favorite en je zelf gemaakte afspeellijsten die je kan creëren dankzij de meegeleverde Denon DJ Music Manager software. 

Tweeweg CUE Search System

Functie Next File met crossfade 
Zoeken naar een volgende track op dezelfde CD of een volgend bestand op 9 verschillende criteria (zonder dat de muziek wordt onderbroken) en naadloos crossfaden naar dat bestand voor een soepele non-stop mix op afroep. De crossfadetijd kan in het presetmenu worden ingesteld van 0 tot 4 sec.

Directional Scratch 
Deze functie maakt het mogelijk om het scratch geluid van de platter te manipuleren. Bij ‘both’ wordt het traditionele vinyl sound weergegeven bij beweging in beide richtingen. Bij ‘Forward’ wordt alleen de vooruitgaande beweging weergegeven zodat het lijkt alsof je een crossfader gebruikt. 

3-Weg Pitch Bend
Er zijn drie manieren om te pitch benden; 1) Platter Bend mode. 2) Pitch bend knoppen. 3) Door middel van de ‘old-school’ manier door met je vinger druk uit te oefenen op de zijkant van de platter of door de middelste punt vooruit te draaien.

Fast Search / Quick Jump
Navigeer door een track/file met exacte door de gebruiker aan te passen stappen van 10, 20, 30 tot 60 seconden dankzij de << en >> knoppen. 

Memo Import / Export

Door middel van een hoogwaardige 24-Bit Audio Interface kan de Contour Interface Edition van Reloop perfect worden gebruikt door laptop DJ’s . Naadloze samenwerking met elke willekeurige DJ software is nog nooit zo simpel geweest.

4 Decks aansturen
Aan de rechterbovenzijde de Contour Interface Edition heb je de mogelijkheid om te kiezen voor deck A, B, C of D. Dit betekent dat alle functies maar liefst op 4 decks kunnen worden toegepast. Snel schakelen is het wel. 

24-Bit Audio Interface

Maar liefst 8 loops kunnen worden opgeslagen onder diverse knoppen. Heel simpel zijn deze uit het systeem te verwijderen, maar ook weer in te laden. Dit biedt je als DJ een enorme diversiteit, waarmee je jezelf echt kunt onderscheiden.

Maar liefst 4 potmeters kunnen worden toegewezen binnen functies in Traktor. Ook de faders welke je eronder vindt hebben een functie. Complete controle over software. 

Shift functie

Maar liefst 8 loops kunnen worden opgeslagen onder diverse knoppen. Heel simpel zijn deze uit het systeem te verwijderen, maar ook weer in te laden. Dit biedt je als DJ een enorme diversiteit, waarmee je jezelf echt kunt onderscheiden.

4 toewijsbare potmeters met faders
Maar liefst 4 potmeters kunnen worden toegewezen binnen functies in Traktor. Ook de faders welke je eronder vindt hebben een functie. Complete controle over software. 

Shift functie
Reloop staat inmiddels bekend om haar “Shift” functie, waarmee alle knoppen, faders en potmeters een dubbele functie toegewezen kunnen krijgen. Zo heb je dubbel zoveel synchronisatie met jouw favoriete DJ software, zoals Traktor Scratch. 

Cuepunten instellen
Natuurlijk is een nieuw stukje DJ apparatuur niet compleet als er geen cuepunten kunnen worden ingesteld. Natuurlijk is de Contour Controller Edition uitgerust met deze handige functie.
