The World’s Most Advanced Mix Controller

Although the SCS.1m is in some ways a “mixer,” it’s more appropriately called a mix controller. Designed in an intuitive DJ mixer format that should be instantly familiar to anyone who’s ever stepped behind the decks, the SCS.1m features four channel strips with faders, EQ controls, and high-precision metering, as well as a responsive crossfader, and a straightforward Cue / Monitoring section. The surface layout has been carefully designed so that any experienced DJ can simply step up and begin basic mixing within seconds. The difference, of course, is that tweaking an EQ knob or channel fader, for example, is not actually adjusting analog audio — it’s controlling the corresponding EQ or level parameter in your DJ software.
FireWire Computer Connection
The SCS.1m controls your DJ software and sends/receives audio to Mac or PC via its onboard, studio-quality FireWire connection. FireWire allows a simple, single-cable connection, with all the bandwidth required to handle just about any mixing and controlling task you’re likely to need. It also ensures ultra-low latency (delay) of only 1.5ms and high sampling rates (sound quality) of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz. This translates into lightning-fast responsiveness and sound quality that’s far beyond competing mix control products.
Rotary Controls (aka “Super Knobs”)
Beyond basic mixing and control, the SCS.1m makes a radical departure from traditional mixers via four rotary encoders (“virtual knobs”) with LED rings and corresponding LCD “scribble strips.” These fully assignable encoders can be mapped directly into functions in the DJ software while providing visual feedback of knob position, even in low-light settings. Underneath, the LCD scribble strips confirm the software parameter being adjusted by each encoder, without the need to check your laptop. Of course, common assignments for these encoders can be saved as presets for fast recall.

Auxiliary Input for Turntables and CD Players

Although designed primarily as a software control surface, the SC System provides DJs with the ability to connect a “real” turntable or CD player into their Macs or PCs via a switchable Aux input. This input is useful for mixing “real world” sources along with your software, and for sampling or archiving vinyl and other audio into your computer.

Designed from the ground up for high-precision software control, the SCS.1d Deck is a dream-come-true for laptop DJs. Based upon the popular layout of the C.304, as well as extensive input from top DJs, this deck’s interface is both comfortable and practical — providing a host of “world’s first” features at your fingertips. Even better, it ships with a real vinyl disc to provide an extremely natural feel, right out of the box.

Specifically, the SCS.1d offers a tight grip over your music through a high-torque 10” motorized platter, transport controls, navigation keys, rotary encoders, a motorized pitch slider, and a trigger section. Unlike the SCS.1m Mix Controller, the SCS.1d Deck does not offer any direct audio connectivity; all audio I/O remains at the mixer or external soundcard. High-Torque Motorized Platter
Central to the amazing SCS.1d is an enhanced version of the award-winning motorized platter from the Stanton T.120 and STR8-150 turntables. This is one of the world’s most trusted platter designs, proven through thousands of hours of use by DJs the world over. To be specific, this is a 4.5 Kgf-com, 16-pole, 3-phase brushless DC motor. What that means to you is super-fast .2 second spin up and stop speeds. The motor can also be adjusted to simulate the feel of both super high-torque motors and commonly used low-torque designs.

Unbeatable Resolution

The SCS.1d’s high resolution (over one thousand counts per rotation) vinyl tracking system allows for super-accurate mixing and scratching. This system assures that every nuance is captured in real time, and works around the same principles as an optical mouse — so it never wears out. Unlike digital vinyl systems, the SCS.1d’s tracking is completely error-free (whereas digital vinyl systems have problems at slow speed). And because there’s no interpretation of timecode signal, there’s no delay between your movement and your software.
Encoders, Navigation, and More
Much like the SCS.1m, the SCS.1d Deck features four assignable rotary encoders with bright LED rings to control various aspects of your software. Underneath each encoder is an LCD “scribble strip” to let you know what parameter you’re tweaking without looking up from the deck. With six control presets for each knob, this is the equivalent of having 24 assignable knobs — built right into your deck! Similar flexibility is built into both the SCS.1d’s Navigation section, with its jog wheel for precise control, and Deck selection, which quickly banks between different global settings. In this way, the SCS.1d is like having many “virtual turntables” at your disposal; a single button press is all it takes to switch from one deck to the “next.”

Motorized Pitch Slider

The pitch slider on the SCS.1d is not only 100mm long for super-smooth pitch adjustments, but it’s also motorized, so your deck “remembers” its settings as you switch between decks or presets.

Trigger Pads

Directly underneath the SCS.1d’s motorized platter is its assignable Trigger section. Comprised of four velocity-sensitive pads, this section can be used to play loops and samples during performance, or for triggering any other MIDI messages to your software. Using these trigger pads in conjuction with the platter provides wild creative possibilities never before possible. While simple in operation, the expressive possibilities are almost endless.

MixVibes PRODUCER is based on the DVS technology (Digital Vinyl Software). It allows you to spin your digital media files (mp3, wave, aiff, ogg vorbis, wma, Audio CD´s) from your PC with CD or vinyl decks. All you need is a PC and an audio interface (USB, FireWire, PCI compatible).

MixVibes PRODUCER gets all the functionalities of DVS, boosted with pro features. This software brings another step towards making the DJ a musician and remixer thanks to a set of amazing creative tools.

The CD player or turntables are plugged into the soundcard inputs. No RIAA Pre amp is recommended, the software do the correction automatically. The output of you soundcard will be connected to Channel 1 and 2 of your mixer. Once everything is set up, the install wizard in PRODUCER will help you to finilized the set up.

Access to your favourite video files and include them in sync in your mix. Video clips format such as divx, .avi, .vob, .mov, .mpeg 1 or 2 are compatible. If your computer is powered enough (check the recommended specs) and you have the codec installed on your machine, specific and professional video formats such as H.264, mp4 and HD files can be supported. Along with the video, a special rack includes various video effects and transitions. The mixed video output can be sent to a secondary screen monitor or projector. 16 players are available to mix a number of video files.

If you are a lucky owner of a multiple In/Out soundcard (4IN/4OUT for example), 4 decks can be controlled with 4 players at the same time.

The included 16 pattern sampler is enhanced for this PRODUCER version. It is in direct wire with your players and acts interactively with it. Up-beat / down beat, beat grinding, beat slicing, preset beat repeating are the amazing features of PRODUCER sampler. An all-in-one solution for DJ to remix live their tracks. The Microphone input is now connected to your MixVibes players. Plug a MIC in your professional soundcard for beat box, MC’s performances or announcements. The instant MIC recording saves the file in a specific folder. Once recorded, the file can be dragged and dropped into the player, for instance scratch live!

The Steinberg VST plug-in and free VST effects are hosted in MixVibes PRODUCER. MIDI keyboard should be connected to your computer to play the instruments. We recommend official VST instrument purchased in retail. For live performers, the melodies played through VST instruments can be recorded as a media file. Then, drag and drop the file in your player and mix it live with your turntables.

As every controller has its own configuration, the PRODUCER is now including a very intuitive MIDI learning. It is really easy to map your favourite controller and control the DJ software. The version 7 includes pre mapped MIDI files for VCI-100, Hercules DJ Console RMX and MK2, Pioneer CDJ-400, M-Audio X-session and more…

Bring more creativity in your mix thanks to the FX included. Flanging, Phasing, Reverb, Echo are some of the 14 FX included. These FX can be adjusted in the HOME player or directly from your MIDI controller. Up to 6 FX can be affected at the same time.

Numark's MixMeister Fusion is een krachtig mix en sequence programma welke de DJ het vermogen geeft om zijn mixen op een heel andere manier te benaderen dan bij het traditionele mixen.

Numark's MixMeister Fusion stelt de DJ in staat om een mix kompleet aan te passen in een werkomgeving zoals een digitaal audio workstation. Deze innovatieve benadering maakt het mogelijk om een full length mix te construeren en te produceren op je beeldscherm. Door het automatiseren van de beat match taken, kun je tot wel acht sporen tegelijk laten lopen zonder er naar om te kijken, zodat je alle tijd hebt om allerlei coole features aan je remix toe te voegen zoals intelligent looping(tot 8 volle maten) het toevoegen van extra samples in de maat en de mogelijkheid om vele effecten aan  je song toe te voegen. De software neemt alle DJ akties en veranderingen op, en deze kunnen achteraf nog weer worden aangepast zodat je de perfecte mix kunt maken.

Zoals 's werelds standaard Rane SL1, verbindt de SL3 een of twee standaard vinyl draaitafels of cd-spelers met uw computer en het mengpaneel naar uw keuze. Door gebruik te maken van 'gewone' draaitafels of cd-spelers, kunt u bestanden van uw Mac of Windows computer scratchen en mixen.

Versterkt met preamps van studiokwaliteit en de 24-bits audioverwerking, deze compacte nieuwe oplossing vormt een warm en pittig geluid die de zintuigen aanscherpt. De Aux-uitgangen laten DJ's en elextronische muzikanten toe hun mix nog intenser te maken met de Scratch Live SP-6 Sample speler. De Aux-ingangen leveren een live input voor creatief sample-en of het opnemen van uw set. U kunt gelijk welke combinatie van uw audiobronnen gebruiken: controle cd's, controle vinyls, MIDI of 'gewone' CD's en vinyl voor een nooit geziene flexibiliteit.

De meegeleverde 12" vinylplaten en de controle cd's hebben elk het exclusieve en unieke controlesignaal van Serato, waarmee Scratch Live iedere beweging van de plaat of cd kan opvolgen, en zo dezelfde beweging te simuleren met het digitale geluid.
Vanwege Serato's eigen controle-regeling, is het resultaat niet te onderscheiden qua gevoel en geluid van het afspelen van vinyl.


Scratch Live:

Scratch Live (de software) ondersteunt al deze bestandsindelingen: MP3 (met vaste en variabele bitsnelheden), AIFF, AAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis, CD Audio en direct geluid vanuit het mengpaneel. Opnemen vanaf de AUX uitgang van uw mengpaneel en hiermee scratchen alsof het op vinyl was geperst behoort ook tot de vele mogelijkheden van Scratch Live.
Ook het direct opnemen van vinyl of CD en dit opslaan als een 24-bit 48kHz stereo bestand.

Importeer uw afspeellijsten en iTunes bibliotheek met het grootste gemak! U kunt vanuit de verkenner (Windows) of de Finder (Mac) uw muziekbestanden gewoon slepen in de Scratch Live bibliotheek. Het Crate en Subcrate systeem helpt u uw bibliotheek en sets te organiseren. Verwissel in no-time externe schijven met snelle automatische bibliotheek-samenvoeging en het bewaren van Crates. Doorblader uw muziekcollectie per album, artiest, BPM of genre met optionele albumillustraties. De intuïtieve zoekfunctie kan op ieder veld worden toegepast om dingen snel terug te vinden. Pas de ID3-tags aan met volledige Unicode ondersteuning.

Het voorverwerken van MP3-bestanden is niet noodzakelijk, behalve voor het opsporen van corrupte bestanden of het gebruik van de auto-BPM en auto-volume functies. 
Auto-BPM detecteert de informatie ivm het tempo voor liedjes zonder deze informatie, en bewaart dit bij ieder bestand. Een TAP Tempo knop laat u toe uw eigen snelheid hiervoor op te geven.
Auto-Volume (Auto-Gain) laat u toe een volumelimit of niveau toe te kennen aan één of alle nummers in uw bibliotheek. U kunt ook afzonderlijk en manueel ieder volume aanpassen, dat ook met ieder bestand wordt bewaard.

De virtuele decks tonen u alles ivm de snelheid en de positie van een nummer. Als de vinylplaat draait, doet de lijn op het label dit ook. De cirkelvormige voortgangsbalk rond de rand is een visuele weergave van de positie binnen de track. De tijd en de resterende tijd worden aangegeven in minuten en seconden, de draaitafel snelheid als een percentage van de pitch shift aan de linkerzijde, en de effectieve BPM aan de rechterzijde.

Aan ieder virtueel deck kunnen verschillende modi worden toegewezen:

  • Absolute Mode: hierbij is het alsof u met uw gewone vinyl draait: uw digitale muziek start, stopt,... zoals u met uw plaat beweegt. Een needle drop middenin een track is hierbij perfect mogelijk, juist zoals bij een 'gewone' vinylplaat. Het begin van de track is toegewezen aan het begin van de plaat.
  • Relative Mode: Skipvrij scratchen, verspringen naar een of meerdere CUE punten, en pitch bend knoppen gecombineerd met de controle over de draaitafel. Deze modus observeert de relatieve voorwaartse en achterwaartse beweging van de plaat, maar kijkt niet naar de positie van de naald op de plaat.
  • Internal Mode: Mix enkel met uw laptop, gebruik makend van de eigenschappen van de op uw scherm gemodelleerde DJ CD-spelers.
    Rewind, Bend down, Play / Pause reverse, Play / Pause forward, Bend Up, Fast Forward, alle functies van een standaard cd-speler kunnen ook hier teruggevonden worden.
  • Auto Mode: speelt automatisch een opeenvolging van tracks af.



Met de Key Lock ingeschakeld, blijft de Key of de toonhoogte van het lied geblokkeerd zodat de track op een normale snelheid wordt afgespeeld, onafhankelijk van de snelheid van de platter van de draaitafel of cd-speler. De Key Lock heeft een nul detectie, zodat het automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld bij het scratchen om een natuurlijk scratch-geluid te creëren.

De waveforms met een variabele zoom, gecentreerd op de huidige positie, worden horizontaal of verticaal weergegeven.
De waveforms zijn gekleurd per frequentie zodat u de verschillende instrumenten visueel kunt onderscheiden. Bij het volledige track overzicht kunt u vlug terugvinden wanneer de beat wegvalt, er breakdowns en refreinen komen of naar gelijk welk een deel van de track springen. Het tempo display helpt u met een snelle tempo matching van tracks. Wanneer de twee tracks op elkaar zijn afgestemd op hetzelfde tempo, zullen de pieken op elkaar lopen. Het beat display legt de nadruk op de transiënten in tracks - deze zijn op elkaar afgestemd wanneer de beats van de twee nummers gelijklopen. Er kunnen visuele tekens worden ingesteld, voor maximaal 5 CUE-punten per nummer en kunnen worden opgeroepen via het toetsenbord. Bewaar tot 9 loops per track - deze loops worden opgeslagen samen met het bestand en zijn aanwezig wanneer u het nummer terug inlaadt. 
Sensoren voelen direct een quick-reverse aan en reageren hier direct op zonder verlies van timing of pitch.

De MIDI control kan USB controllers laten werken met Scratch Live. De DJ controller ondersteuning zal variëren.

De ingebouwde helpfunctie en de tips in verschillende talen zijn op gelijk welk moment toegankelijk. Er is zelfs een waarschuwing voor laag batterijniveau van de laptop.

High-Torque Motorized Platter
Central to the amazing SCS.1d is an enhanced version of the award-winning motorized platter from the Stanton T.120 and STR8-150 turntables. This is one of the world’s most trusted platter designs, proven through thousands of hours of use by DJs the world over. To be specific, this is a 4.5 Kgf-com, 16-pole, 3-phase brushless DC motor. The SCS.1d’s high resolution (over one thousand counts per rotation) vinyl tracking system allows for super-accurate mixing and scratching. Unlike digital vinyl systems, the SCS.1d’s tracking is completely error-free (whereas digital vinyl systems have problems at slow speed). Encoders, Navigation, and More
Much like the SCS.1m, the SCS.1d Deck features four assignable rotary encoders with bright LED rings to control various aspects of your software. Underneath each encoder is an LCD “scribble strip” to let you know what parameter you’re tweaking without looking up from the deck. With six control presets for each knob, this is the equivalent of having 24 assignable knobs — built right into your deck! Similar flexibility is built into both the SCS.1d’s Navigation section, with its jog wheel for precise control, and Deck selection, which quickly banks between different global settings. Native Instruments has announced Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro, the next versions of its digital DJ solutions with MIDI and time-code control. Traktor Pro touts four full-featured decks, extensive sound shaping and MIDI control options.

The new Traktor Scratch Pro combines the full-featured Traktor Pro software with the Audio 8 DJ interface and a set of high-resolution time-code records and CDs for responsive hands-on control through turntables and CD decks. Traktor Pro introduces a new graphical user interface that includes a completely scalable screen layout and cover artwork support including the Crate Flick” feature that allows DJs to visually browse their music library.

There are also advanced syncing functions in Traktor Pro. Precise beat grids are now created automatically for all tracks, and the “Sync Lock” function is designed to ensure that even multiple decks and tempo-synced effects never drift out of sync. New “quantized navigation” also allows DJs to jump between loops, cue points or any other part of a track without missing a beat.

Traktor Pro also sports a performance effects section. Two separate multi-effect units offer more than 20 studio-quality algorithms, from a full range of standard DJ effects to a selection of unusual effect types like Mulholland Drive, Iceverb and Reverse Grain. The World’s Most Advanced Mix Controller

Although the SCS.1m is in some ways a “mixer,” it’s more appropriately called a mix controller. Designed in an intuitive DJ mixer format that should be instantly familiar to anyone who’s ever stepped behind the decks, the SCS.1m features four channel strips with faders, EQ controls, and high-precision metering, as well as a responsive crossfader, and a straightforward Cue / Monitoring section. The surface layout has been carefully designed so that any experienced DJ can simply step up and begin basic mixing within seconds. The difference, of course, is that tweaking an EQ knob or channel fader, for example, is not actually adjusting analog audio — it’s controlling the corresponding EQ or level parameter in your DJ software.
FireWire Computer Connection
The SCS.1m controls your DJ software and sends/receives audio to Mac or PC via its onboard, studio-quality FireWire connection. FireWire allows a simple, single-cable connection, with all the bandwidth required to handle just about any mixing and controlling task you’re likely to need. It also ensures ultra-low latency (delay) of only 1.5ms and high sampling rates (sound quality) of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz. Rotary Controls (aka “Super Knobs”)
Beyond basic mixing and control, the SCS.1m makes a radical departure from traditional mixers via four rotary encoders (“virtual knobs”) with LED rings and corresponding LCD “scribble strips.” These fully assignable encoders can be mapped directly into functions in the DJ software while providing visual feedback of knob position, even in low-light settings. Underneath, the LCD scribble strips confirm the software parameter being adjusted by each encoder, without the need to check your laptop. Auxiliary Input for Turntables and CD Players

Although designed primarily as a software control surface, the SC System provides DJs with the ability to connect a “real” turntable or CD player into their Macs or PCs via a switchable Aux input.
